My son said this raised his game a notch. He wears weighted in practice and these in games. These are 1oz (30g) lighter than his previous name brand lite guards. We also got him shoes that are 1 oz lighter so we are saving 2oz each leg. He says he feels it and notices more energy towards the end of games and long tournament days.
These seem indestructible and will last until he outgrows them. He also said they work for well for protection. He has taken a few cleats with them. No issues.
It’s always a struggle to get my son to wear his guards in training, but these are so light and low profile that he wears them all the time. Definitely worth the price!

The fit is good and the protection is good. We followed the height guidance above. My son indicated these shin guards moved his play up a notch. He likes the work hard in practice and lighter in games strategy and he believes that it is showing benefits. He said he is less fatigued toward the end of games. Considering that he often plays multiple games per day on weekends we believe the additional energy savings, or reduction in overall fatigue is worth it.

My kid has used these now for 2 weeks as of this post. He came up after his last game of the season and said, "Dad, I really like these guards! Excellent product. The shin guard holders do slip like with other shin guards. Would love to see maybe an elastic shin guard holder that is more secure/tight to the leg coupled with the pouch to slide in SD shin guards; maybe that will help address the slippage issue.
So far these guards live up to their name. Feel much faster on the field while still having protection. Great quality and they look awesome. Very happy with them.

I ordered the small size for my daughter who is 4’8”. I know this is just outside of the recommended range, but they fit well, have nice padding, and are strong and light. Highly recommended!
My son 🧡 his weighted shin guards and has seen an improvement in his game after training with them on. We totally recommend them.
Purchased these, the carbon shin guards, and the sleeves for my grandson. The ultimate test is if he uses them, and he does. The weighted shin guards are increasing his strength, the pocket sleeves keep the guards in place, and the carbon guards provide light weight protection. Will be buying more as he grows.

These are perfect!!!! Very durable and well constructed!! Nice padding on the inside as well. My son already has a love/hate relationship with them.
